Is there a CD player/VCR we can use ?

There are two portable CD players available to use as well as a video recorder/DVD with a large library of videos.  There is also a large selection of CDs and books.

Are there medical facilities nearby ?

Basic first aid facilities are available on site. There are doctors surgeries in Los Carlos 2km (1.24 miles) away and Castell de Ferro 7km (4.35 miles) away, as well as an excellent hospital in Motril 20km (12.48 miles) away. We recommend that you organise your own travel insurance and bring an E111 document (free from UK post offices) with you, in order to ensure free treatment.

What time are meals served ?

All meal times are flexible, although those with the organised courses need to be arranged with the course organiser.

Is English widely spoken locally ?

People in certain bars and restaurants speak some English, but as this area is "real Spain" with less concession to tourism than the Costa del Sol, for example, most of the locals speak a limited amount of English.

Do you cater for vegetarians ?

Yes, we cater for all tastes and dietary needs, but prior notification would be appreciated.

Yes, absolutely. There is a small single person supplement.

Where can I hire a car ?

We recommend Crown Hire (Tel: +34 952176486) or Carjet.co.uk if you book online. Click here to book at Almeria airport  here to book at Granada airport or here to book at Malaga airport online.

Do I have to book from Saturday to Saturday ?

No, bookings are taken for any length of stay and can start on any day of the week.

How do I book ?

Just contact us by email or telephone. See Contact Us section for phone numbers and email address. Please be patient if you contact us by telephone, because our radio phone is temperamental - one of the prices we have to pay for living in a remote location.

How do I pay ?

A 20% non-returnable deposit secures a booking, the balance is payable on arrival and you pay for any extras on departure. You can pay in cash or by cheque.
